Precision Landing Gear Testing & Shock System Engineering

Precision landing gear testing requires deep engineering insight, specialized tools, and the ability to adapt to your unique requirements. Our team has the tools and expertise to accelerate development, reduce risk, and deliver actionable insights fast.

Shock Absorber Optimization

We have developed tools in-house to generate the baseline performance of oleo-pneumatic shock struts to help predict and fine-tune damper performance. We also design and analyze other types of shock absorbers, such as spring gears. Combined with our in-house testing capabilities, we can rapidly iterate designs to achieve your performance requirements.

In-House Testing

Our in-house modular landing gear swing arm develops landing load factors. We designed it to achieve specific impact velocities, sink speeds, up to 150 knots wheel spin-up, application of lateral and torsional loads, and more. We can even test reserve energy via drop testing up to 27″ to certify landing gear for a wide range of vehicle landing weights. In addition to drop testing, we can shimmy test nose gears up to 90 mph to achieve desired performance.
